Occasionally we are asked to remodel a kitchen to aid in the sale of a house. The clients bought this house knowing they were going to sell it in two years and purchase their dream home in Flintridge. The existing kitchen was horrible, resulting in their paying a much lower price for the home than other homes in the area. The house had “Good Bones” and was worth investing in some cosmetic improvements which didn’t cost a lot.They knew they had to invest in a complete remodel of the kitchen. Knowing their budget was limited, we designed the new kitchen with cost cutting parameters in mind. We selected a contractor for the reconstruction who was able to do most of the work himself with the aid of a more than capable assistant.
Realizing maximum profit
This included removal of an existing wall, installation of a new beam, new footings, new plumbing, electrical and a new ceiling to create a much larger kitchen footprint. We were able to create a “Wow” factor within their budget by a careful selection of cabinetry, appliances, flooring, counter tops and fixtures. We know what prospective buyers are looking for when purchasing a home. This kitchen when compared to other kitchens in homes in the area would be a major selling feature.

When the home was placed on the market……..a bidding war took place!!!! Our clients received a price far in excess of what they hoped to receive.
The new owners told our clients that they had not seen a kitchen as beautiful and functional in all the homes they visited. Needless to say we are proud of what we achieved for our clients.
